The Story of the Shot

I captured this magical misty winter morning in Lamar Valley on a bitterly cold January day. The thermometer inched toward -30F that morning in Lamar. But despite the cold, I bundled up and had a blast exploring the valley that morning. As I drove down toward the Lamar Buffalo Ranch, I noticed misty fog rising off of Rose Creek. Even though I had been intending to drive further east that morning, as soon as I saw the mist I knew this was where I needed to focus. Trudging through the knee-deep snow, I searched for interesting angles while waiting for the sun to arrive. Soon enough, the sun popped over the Ranch and lit up this scene with a beautiful golden glow!

Print Type

METAL: Metal prints feature dye directly infused onto a thin sheet of aluminum. They are sleek and modern, featuring vibrant colors and an almost magical luminescence. Because they are made from a solid sheet of metal, they are waterproof and scratch resistant. Also, no framing is required for metal prints! Simply mount the print directly to your wall (mounting hardware is included with each print).

PAPER: Paper prints are un-framed and include just the print itself. The buyer is responsible for matting and framing the print once it has been delivered. That way, you can use a frame that you already have, or choose your own custom frame to better match your existing décor.

PLEASE NOTE: All prints ship directly from my print lab partner and are therefore not able to be signed. If you are interested in a signed print, please contact me to place a custom order. Signed prints usually cost slightly more since I need to have the print shipped twice (once from the print lab to me, and again from me to you).

Shipping

All orders ship for free. Please allow 2-4 weeks total for production and shipping/delivery. At this time, I am only able to ship to the contiguous 48 US states. Any orders with a shipping address outside of this area will be canceled and refunded.
