The Story of the Shot
The title “Browsing Bison” seems mostly descriptive, but it is also noteworthy. Bison are normally grazers, meaning they eat grasses. But when times are tough, bison may occasionally be seen browsing on woody foods such as these willows. I captured this shot on a photo tour with Yellowstone Wild during the unusually harsh winter of 2022-2023. With no grass in sight, this cow spent several minutes gnawing on these willows instead.
Print Type
METAL: Metal prints feature dye directly infused onto a thin sheet of aluminum. They are sleek and modern, featuring vibrant colors and an almost magical luminescence. Because they are made from a solid sheet of metal, they are waterproof and scratch resistant. Also, no framing is required for metal prints! Simply mount the print directly to your wall (mounting hardware is included with each print).
PAPER: Paper prints are un-framed and include just the print itself. The buyer is responsible for matting and framing the print once it has been delivered. That way, you can use a frame that you already have, or choose your own custom frame to better match your existing décor.
PLEASE NOTE: All prints ship directly from my print lab partner and are therefore not able to be signed. If you are interested in a signed print, please contact me to place a custom order. Signed prints usually cost slightly more since I need to have the print shipped twice (once from the print lab to me, and again from me to you).
Shipping
All orders ship for free. Please allow 2-4 weeks total for production and shipping/delivery. At this time, I am only able to ship to the contiguous 48 US states. Any orders with a shipping address outside of this area will be canceled and refunded.
