Fighting Floods with ART!

One week ago today, a massive flood event completely stopped the busy summer guiding season in its tracks. Within that one short week, the National Park Service and several public and private partners have performed a herculean effort to restore some access to the area, but there is still a long way to go. It is likely that Gardiner-based guiding services will be out of work for most of the summer, if not the rest of the year.

BUT, rather than sit here and wallow in self-pity, I want to turn this into an opportunity to share the beauty of Yellowstone with all of YOU via my photography, while also helping fill the financial hole created by suddenly having my full-time job yanked from under me literally overnight.

So to that end, I am excited to announce a massive print sale unlike anything I have done before! I am working with my primary print lab partner to offer an assortment of standard paper prints, modern metal prints, and even some framed prints with a small selection of frame styles.

There are two ways to take advantage of this print sale:

  1. Head over to the store and see what strikes your fancy, OR….
  2. Email me (robwildphoto@gmail.com) or message me on Facebook/Instagram to let me know what you want, and then pay via PayPal or Venmo. This option helps me avoid some credit card processing fees, but it’s a little more roundabout so if you would prefer to just order through the store like a normal person, I totally get it!

If you aren’t interested in purchasing a print, but still want to contribute to the “Help Rob avoid becoming homeless” fund, feel free to contribute via a PayPal donation. There is a donation button to the right of this post (or below it, if you’re on a phone), or you can simply send donations to robharwoodmedia@gmail.com on PayPal.

NOTE: I have been busy trying to get my website up and running to handle all of this, and I think it is finally good to go. There is only one hiccup I am still trying to resolve: after placing your order, you will probably redirect to a blank “checkout” page instead of an order confirmation page. I am trying to figure out why this bug is happening, but rest assured that your order was received just fine. You will still receive an order confirmation email even if the confirmation page doesn’t want to cooperate.

Also, if you have been following me on Facebook or Instagram and have seen any other photos that you would like a print of, but they don’t appear in my store, I can totally do custom orders. Just drop me an email and I’d be happy to take care of it.

Otherwise, head over to the store and pick your print!

Thanks so much, and I hope to meet you all out on the trail or on a tour once northern Yellowstone is back up and running!
